EXPLORE THIS STORY
Chasing Adventure
For families who believe every adventure begins with saying yes.
A story built around climbing higher, riding faster, getting dirt on your shoes, and making memories along the way.
Build Your Story
Every adventure becomes another story.
Chasing Adventure is built around movement, shared interests, and the things that make your family feel most alive.
Maybe your adventure happens at the skatepark, on horseback, beside the water, around a campfire, or during an ordinary Saturday spent doing what you already love.
The adventure matters more than standing still.
Choose the pieces that feel most like your family. Your answers will give us a starting point, and we’ll build the rest together.
Chapter One
What kind of adventure feels most like you?
Start with the world your story belongs in. Your choice will shape the activity ideas available in the next chapter.
Choose one.
Chapter Two
What will we do together?
Choose the activities that already feel like your family—or the ones you have been waiting for an excuse to try.
Choose up to three.
Chapter Three
Choose the color story.
Color can make your adventure feel bold, nostalgic, earthy, coastal, energetic, or beautifully worn-in.
Choose one.
Chapter Four
What will everyone wear?
Choose clothing that fits the adventure and lets everyone move comfortably. Nothing needs to be too precious to run, climb, ride, splash, or get dirty in.
Choose one direction.
Chapter Five
What kind of atmosphere draws you in?
We cannot control the forecast, but we can decide which conditions we would be happy to embrace if they arrive.
Rain, fog, clouds, and cooler weather are often more likely in spring and winter, but no condition can be guaranteed.
Choose as many as you would genuinely embrace.
Chapter Six
Add the finishing touches.
These optional choices help shape how your completed story looks, moves, and feels.
Choose as many as you love.
Your Story So Far
An adventure that already belongs to you.
These choices are not a contract or a shot list. They are the beginning of our conversation and a way for me to understand where your family comes alive.
Questions
A few things you might be wondering.
Every family—and every story—is different. Here are a few of the questions I hear most often before a Little Wonders session.
What if my child won't cooperate?
Honestly, that's exactly who these sessions were designed for.
I don't expect children to smile on command or sit perfectly still. We'll give them something to discover, build, chase, collect, imagine, or explore instead. Those real moments almost always become the photographs families treasure most.
Do we have to bring all of the props?
Not at all.
The Build Your Story guide is inspiration, not a shopping list. We'll decide together what makes sense for your story, and many sessions need nothing more than the landscape and your family.
What if I can't decide between ideas?
You don't have to.
The builder simply helps us discover what you're naturally drawn to. We'll refine everything together after you inquire, and sometimes the best stories become a combination of several ideas.
Can Little Wonders work for maternity or couples?
Absolutely.
While Little Wonders was inspired by childhood, the same playful, nostalgic feeling can beautifully shape maternity, couples, or even anniversary sessions. Think picnics, kites, balloons, wildflowers, and slow evenings together.
What if the weather changes?
Sometimes the weather becomes part of the story.
We can adjust locations, embrace cloudy skies, splash through puddles, or simply reschedule if conditions become unsafe. Some of my favorite photographs happened because we stopped trying to fight the forecast.
What happens after I click "Tell Me About Your Story"?
Once you inquire, I'll read through everything you've built and get to know the story you're imagining.
We'll refine your ideas together, talk through locations if you're still deciding, make wardrobe suggestions if you'd like them, and shape the session around your family—not around a checklist.
The builder isn't a contract or a shot list. It's simply the beginning of our conversation.
