HOME SWEET HOME
For families who know the most meaningful moments usually happen at home.
A story built around the quiet rhythms, familiar places, and ordinary moments that quietly become the heart of home.
Build Your Story
The ordinary days are the ones that become home.
Home Sweet Home is built around the rooms, routines, sidewalks, pets, chores, and familiar places that already belong to your family.
Maybe your story happens over pancakes in the kitchen, beneath the backyard sprinkler, on the walk to the neighborhood playground, or somewhere inside the beautiful chaos of an ordinary Saturday.
Nothing has to be extraordinary to be worth remembering.
Choose the pieces that feel most like your real life. We’ll use them as the beginning of a story built around the home you are creating together.
Chapter One
Where does your everyday life unfold?
Start with the part of home you want to remember. Your choice will shape the activity ideas that appear in the next chapter.
Choose one.
Chapter Two
What will we do together?
Choose the routines, traditions, and ordinary activities that feel most like your family right now.
Choose up to three.
Chapter Three
Choose the color story.
Your home already has its own colors and personality. These palettes simply help guide clothing and details without asking everyone to match.
Choose one.
Chapter Four
What might everyone wear?
Home sessions should still feel like home. Choose a direction that lets everyone move, relax, cuddle, play, and participate without worrying about keeping clothes perfect.
Choose one direction.
Chapter Five
What makes your home feel like yours?
Choose the familiar objects, heirlooms, pets, and tiny details that already carry part of your family’s story.
Choose as many as you love.
Chapter Six
What kind of atmosphere feels like home?
We cannot control every window of light or every forecast, but we can choose the feeling we are drawn toward and embrace what the day gives us.
Choose as many as you would genuinely embrace.
Chapter Seven
Add the finishing touches.
These optional choices help shape how your completed story looks, moves, and feels.
Choose as many as you love.
Your Story So Far
A love letter to the life happening here.
These choices are not a contract or a shot list. They are the beginning of our conversation and a way for me to understand what home feels like to your family.
Questions
A few things you might be wondering.
Every family—and every story—is different. Here are a few of the questions I hear most often before a Little Wonders session.
What if my child won't cooperate?
Honestly, that's exactly who these sessions were designed for.
I don't expect children to smile on command or sit perfectly still. We'll give them something to discover, build, chase, collect, imagine, or explore instead. Those real moments almost always become the photographs families treasure most.
Do we have to bring all of the props?
Not at all.
The Build Your Story guide is inspiration, not a shopping list. We'll decide together what makes sense for your story, and many sessions need nothing more than the landscape and your family.
What if I can't decide between ideas?
You don't have to.
The builder simply helps us discover what you're naturally drawn to. We'll refine everything together after you inquire, and sometimes the best stories become a combination of several ideas.
Can Little Wonders work for maternity or couples?
Absolutely.
While Little Wonders was inspired by childhood, the same playful, nostalgic feeling can beautifully shape maternity, couples, or even anniversary sessions. Think picnics, kites, balloons, wildflowers, and slow evenings together.
What if the weather changes?
Sometimes the weather becomes part of the story.
We can adjust locations, embrace cloudy skies, splash through puddles, or simply reschedule if conditions become unsafe. Some of my favorite photographs happened because we stopped trying to fight the forecast.
What happens after I click "Tell Me About Your Story"?
Once you inquire, I'll read through everything you've built and get to know the story you're imagining.
We'll refine your ideas together, talk through locations if you're still deciding, make wardrobe suggestions if you'd like them, and shape the session around your family—not around a checklist.
The builder isn't a contract or a shot list. It's simply the beginning of our conversation.
